Managing Illegal Immigration to the United States

Basically, the goal to protect the country and its people has not changed and still lives on within the modern policies. As in the late 1800s, almost any given foreigner has the ability to become a legal resident, or a person (who lawfully lives in a country, state, etc.) of the United States. However, the process by which an individual can become a legal resident is much more complicated than it has been in years prior. In order to become an (only lasting for a short time) or permanent resident of the United States, people must last through/tolerate the rather long application process to receive a visa or green card.

Any foreigner living within the United States who does not possess such a legal document is carefully thought about/believed an illegal person (who enters a country), and, by law, should be (sent away from a country) to his country of origin.

Also, as the United States has no tolerance for illegal (entering into a country), any individual found illegally crossing the borders is also immediately (sent away from a country). With a much stricter system of entry and residency, many people argue that today’s government has developed a very (producing a lot with very little waste) and (acting to prevent problems before they happen) policy of (entering into a country). While this policy is very strict on paper, one question rises/comes up: Is the government actually enforcing these policies?In order to answer this question, it is important to examine illegal (entering into a country) and its presence in the United States. Now, the number of illegal people (who enter a country) in the United States stands at a guessed (number) 12 million and rising. With such strict policies in place by the government, how so many (not having legal papers/not recorded anywhere) people (who enter a country) can enter the country each year is unclear. Firstly, it is necessary to understand that there are two different types of illegal people (who enter a country).

There are people (who enter a country) who actually come to this country legally via visa or green card, but become illegal by overstaying their visas or green cards. The other type of illegal person (who enters a country) is an individual who simply illegally crosses the border and enters the country without contacting the United States’ government in any way. However, the other type of illegal person (who enters a country) is harder to track because the government is (having no knowledge) of their presence in the country. With the current laws and policies (related to/looking at/thinking about) (entering into a country), it is fair to say that the government has a much better and easier time watching and following and enforcing laws upon people (who enter a country) turned illegal, simply because the government is aware of their presence in the country.
