My Beliefs on Abortion

Society today condones the killing of a life, they call it abortion, but I will try to show you why this is wrong.  Life begins at conception.  The Bible provides proof that God knew us before we were even formed.  This provides truth that what is inside a woman’s body is a human life.

I believe that when you decide to have an abortion, you are deciding to kill an innocent baby.  Whether you’re doing it because the baby may be disabled, difunctional, or your just not ready for a baby, it is still killing a human life. I would 100% not know what to do if I were to have a baby right now as a teenager, so I understand the thought of reliving the stress of a baby in your life. But the fact of the matter is that you would need to kill the baby in order to not have the stress.

People need to take into account the life at hand and give the fetus human rights which it deserves.  My belief is that every baby should have a chance to live because in all reality they are a human; they could grow up to be the smartest person alive. but if you take that away from them by taking their life well that is just murder. Psalm 139 says “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me in my mothers’ womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was, made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.” I believe that my God knew me when I was in my mother’s womb and there, he put me together. He loved me even in her womb so you cannot take away the love that someone could have with their heavenly father.

Abortion is a deliberate termination of a human pregnancy you often perform it during the first twenty-eight weeks but human life happens at conception (dictionary, n.d.). The baby at twenty-eight weeks is 14.8 in long, producing more body fat for life outside of the womb, and is developing billions of neurons in their brain (babycenter, n.d.). When you decide to go through with this you, just think at 28 week your baby is developing a brain.

No civilized society allows a person to hurt or kill another human without punishment so why should abortion be any different. Women who demand to have complete control over there body should control their body by trying to prevent unwanted pregnancies and if necessary staying abstinent. In I Thessalonians 4:3-4 says “For this is the will of god, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality: that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor.” If you want to have full control of your body why not stay abstinent so that you know for sure you will never have to make the unruly decision of terminating an unwanted child. Women who do not stay abstinent before marriage often do end up getting pregnant and this disturbs the fact of “my body”, but when you say, “it is my body, and the decision of abortion is up to me”, that is not true because the body that you are killing isn’t your own. You are taking the choice of life or death out of the un-born child’s hand and stating that since it’s my body I get to do whatever I want with it even if that means killing a baby.

Feminist believe in the social political and economic equality of the sexes but most of the time they are prochoice. I feel like this statement contradicts itself because if they believe woman should have rights what about all the un born little girls that they killed. If they want to have women’s rights, they should also have the rights for the baby girl. Woman have to stick together.

Jerimiah 17:9-10 says “the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick who can trust it? I the lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds”. So, this verse is saying you can’t trust your heart. sometimes if you think something is ok because society says so, don’t listen to it. Read what your about to do, study to find out just exactly what your doing before you take Jurassic measures like murdering your baby. Don’t believe everything your heart or anybody tells you makes sure that’s what you believe, and maybe you can come to the conclusion that abortion is wrong. That you are murdering an unborn child without consent of the baby or not even thinking about the baby. Even if you think the baby will have a terrible life with you as a mother; the baby would much rather survive than to have such a small life.

To me if someone has a bad feeling about the abortion that is because of a conscious which God put into you because we are all made in God’s image. So, if you have a feeling that something is wrong well, it probably is something wrong and you shouldn’t do it. I am not trying to offend anyone with what I’m saying I just wanted to shed some light to the problem of abortion. I believe that people are always going to disagree so maybe if we could have a discussion about our disagreement we can come to a happy medium. I honestly believe in what I wrote and you believe whole heartedly with what you wrote I just thought I would tell you my beliefs before you go and totally disregard every pro-lifer. Because all I want is for the baby to be safe where it should be in the womb. If all else fails you can always give up your baby for adoption. It’s such a better alternative for abortion, because you save a life and brighten two more, the people who are adopting the child.
