On September 10th, a group of YA enthusiasts (bloggers, booksellers, etc.) invaded the Bloor/Gladstone branch of the Toronto Public Library to sit around, enjoy each other’s company, munch on snacks, and (of course) talk books! Raincoast always has a ton of awesome titles on their schedule so of course I was bouncing up and down in the weeks prior to this event.
I always conserve my allotted sugar intake for these types of events because they have ALL THE BEST SNACKS. After we picked up our sugar and got settled in, we connected with the book friends attending in BC via Google Hangout and the games began!
As usual, Raincoast provided us with a printout of all the titles covered so that we could follow along and make notes as we went along. It’s extra helpful when I’m putting these lists together because my eyes get SO BIG at these events and there is no way I’d remember everything without it.
Without further ado, here are my most anticipated titles for Winter and Spring 2017!
Young Adult
Windwitch by Susan Dennard
Under Rose-Tainted Skies by Louise Gornall
Life in a Fishbowl by Len Vlahos
Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer, illust. by Douglas Holgate
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
Piper Perish by Kayla Cagan
The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco
Get it Together, Delilah! by Erin Gough
Middle Grade
The Pants Project by Cat Clarke
Journey Across the Hidden Islands by Sarah Beth Durst
I also received two ARCs and a sampler in my swag bag that I’m incredibly excited for!
Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones
The Sky Between You and Me by Catherine Alene
Crooked Kingdom (sampler) by Leigh Bardugo
This looks like an amazing fun time! looks like you had fun! I am over the moon excited for Wires & Nerve as well as Wintersong, top of my list! enjoy the swag, that has the be the coolest tote bag I’ve seen lol 😉

I really loved that I could be a part of this even from a distance, although, I am a little jealous of the yummy goodies!
