Hey everyone!

It’s been a while and I’ve missed this space sooooo much. Now, as this lovely header says, for just over a month I’ve been on a little adventure that I’ve dubbed “The Unexpected Hiatus” (partially because that’s exactly what it was and partially as an homage to the lovely Morgan 😛 ).

The last bit of April I knew would be chaotic because I got the keys to my new place (yay solo living!) on May 1st. I had every intention of being super organized with my packing thus making the set up also easy. That quickly went out the window…we were still packing as we were loading the truck (and I still have some things at my mom’s)! As you can imagine my lack of productivity quickly bled from the last week of April well into May and now all of a sudden it’s apparently June? I don’t know when that happened.

Coupled with my move, work was insane trying to get our new location open as well as trying to keep up on my normal workload. It wasn’t unusual to get home well after dark every day up until a week or so ago. The exhaustion is so real but now I’m starting to catch up and am able to focus a little more on things outside of work!
