First thing’s first…ARC August update. This is always my favourite time (or times, when there’s also an ARC April) of the year as a book lover and blogger. Shelly and Octavia run this amazing challenge to help encourage us to get through all those ARCs that have inevitably piled up and keep coming. They also have a bunch of fun challenges which I hope to at least partially work through.
I started off super strong and finished one book in the first day and a half…and then have waned ever since. To be fair, I’m also reading for an exciting feature week coming up (more on that in a minute) so I got sidetracked for a few days finishing something before my digital loan expired. I’m currently working on the final book in a series for an upcoming blog tour and while I’m loving it I’m also struggling to get through it while keeping up on freelance and life things so stay tuned, mostly to Goodreads, Instagram, and Twitter, to see how I’m doing with this challenge.
As I mentioned before, I’m currently planning and reading for a super fun feature that I’ll have here in the next few weeks. To celebrate my excitement for a new NFL season, I’ll be running a series of bookish football posts on my blog the first week of September! This will be from September 2-8 and I have a mix of reviews, top 10s, TBRs and more lined up.
Later in September I’ll be on the blog tour for The Brilliant Dark, book #3 in The Realms of Ancient series by S.M. Beiko. I was so excited for this finale so I’m over the moon that ECW asked me to take part in the blog tour.
I will also have a blog tour stop for The Call of the Rift: Veil by Jae Waller. This is book #2 in the series and I really enjoyed the first one so I’m looking forward to revisiting the world for this story as well. Another big thank you to ECW for including me on this tour as well!
That’s all the exciting stuff for now but keep an eye out for upcoming reviews and more as well.
