Shelly and Octavia are back at it again. The world may be a bit of a mess but at least I can count on August bringing me one of my absolute favourite reading challenges hosted by the Read.Sleep.Repeat squad.
Now I feel like many of us like to make these amazingly well thought out plans on what we’re going to read for challenges and then mood-reading takes over but if you think that’s going to stop me from making a TBR you are sorely mistaken.
While sorting through my books recently, I realized I have a number of titles by BIPOC authors waiting on my shelves and have decided to focus predominately those titles for this challenge.
Below are the titles I’ll be picking my August reads from as the month goes along. I figured having a pool to choose from and then winging it from there would be the most organized but still low stress way to build my TBR!
Let me know if you’re also joining in on ARC August and which book you’re most excited to finally pick up over the next month!

This is an awesome TBR Pile!! I have 31 books on my TBR, I kinda want to read a book a day. I’m excited about all of them, actually, but Monstress may be the one I’m dying to read the most. I’ve read the first 2 volumes, so I can’t wait to read the rest of the issues. I hope you’ll enjoy all of these books! Happy reading!
Oooo I’ve been wanting to read Monstress. I should really give it a try one of these days!
WHAT AN AMAZING TBR PILE!! so many goodies, I hope you get to most of them!
